A little message for my clients amidst COVID-19

In a very short amount of time it feels like everything has gone a bit, well, crazy. I don’t know about you but when I first heard about this virus, and what was happening in other countries, I just never believed that this is where we would be but here we are.

I am trying my best to navigate through everything just as I’m sure all of you are. I think that the hardest thing is that none of us have truly ever been through anything like this and so there is a lot of unknown. When I sat down to think about it, there is parts that remind me of “wedding days”. Lots of unknowns, things can come up and sometimes you just have to roll with it. There is nothing you can do to “stop“ it but there are things to do to prepare and make the best of it.

I read a blog about the “do’s” and “don’ts” of planning your wedding through COVID-19. They mention that reaching out to vendors and having a back up plan is not a bad way to go. On the other hand, don’t make any rash decisions. But how do you know?? I think remaining in contact with everyone is one of the best thing that you can do. Reach out to people and see their thoughts, but again don’t overwhelm yourself too much. Each day new things are coming out and information is changing. You have to take things one at a time.

As a photographer and videographer I want all of my clients to know how important they are to me and how much I want to help each and every one of them. Everyone is affected by this Pandemic and everyone is trying to navigate through. If there is anything that I can do for my brides, it is to let them know that I care about them and how impacted they are through this. Honestly, I’m sorry that you have to go through all of this. Take a moment to be upset, to stomp your feet or curse a little. Then do what you can to prepare and move forward.

You got this and I’m here to help.
